Cum să-i ajutăm pe cei munciți rău de un drac…

La Hristos a venit o femeie a cărei fetiță era “muncită rău de un drac” (Matei 15:22). Chiar așa s-a exprimat acea femeie cu privire la comportamentul fetiței. Cum de un copilaș era muncit de un demon? Trebuie să înțelegem că această femeie a venit din zona sirofeniciană, o zonă păgână plină de zei falși, de închinare prin păcate sexuale, o zonă a depravării morale, o zonă în care oamenii erau din cale afară de vicleni, răi și lipsiți de Dumnezeu. Iar când o societate nu-L are pe Dumnezeu până și copiii ajung victime ale demonilor, cum bine vedem și astăzi. Și la evrei existau copii demonizați, dar tot din cauza depărtări lor de protecția lui Dumnezeu.

Voia Tatălui a fost să Îl trimită pe singurul Său Fiu pentru a ridica de peste noi primul legământ, legământul legii, și a-l stabili pe al doilea legământ, legământul harului.

In adevăr, dacă legamântul dintâi ar fi fost fără cusur, n-ar mai fi fost vorba să fie înlocuit cu un al doilea. (Evrei 8:7)

Primul legământ este de interdicții “Să nu”, “Să nu”, “Să nu”. “Să nu”.  Dacă poți să îndeplinești toți acești nu, ești binecuvântat. Dar dacă încalci doar o poruncă, te faci vinovat de încălcarea tuturor (“Caci, cine pazeste toata Legea, si greseste intr-o singura porunca, se face vinovat de toate.” Iacov 2:10). Aceasta înseamnă, de asemenea, că nu poți să selectezi legile pe care vrei să le păzești. În acest sistem, eșecul este garantat. A ști cine suntem cu adevărat, ca și creștini, este cheia unei relații strânse cu Domnul nostru și a unei vieții victorioase. Când ne-am întors la Dumnezeu și L-am rugat sincer pe Isus să devină Domnul vieții noastre, am fost născuți din nou prin Duhul Sfânt și am început călătoria spre cer. Nimeni nu poate spune că este atât de pasionat după Cristos tot timpul, încât nu se teme de nimic și are o încredere totală și fermă în Domnul. Ar fi minunat să putem fi permanent „sus pe munte” cu Domnul, dar evenimentele vieții pe acest Pământ ne fac să coborâm des în „valea umbrei morții”, unde suntem atacați de cel rău. Tocmai de aceea este atât de important să știm care este identitatea noastră în Isus Cristos, ce a câștigat pentru noi la cruce și ne aparține! Avem aici partea a treia din seria  Mesaj pentru biserica din Hong Kong , ”My cup overflows” de Francis Chan, cu subtitrare în limba română.

Știai că există ceva pe Pământ care are importanță foarte mare pentru Dumnezeu? Atât de mare încât să distrugă locul în care nu găsește acel lucru? În mod paradoxal, e ceva așa de obișnuit, iar dacă ești ”prea spiritual” ai șanse să îl pierzi din vedere. Face diferența între a te simți gol pe dinăuntru, sau a fi plin de dai pe dinafară. Deși am experimentat plinătatea de mai multe ori, tind să uit asta, și chiar evit acest lucru, pentru că e inconfortabil.

Cum se face azi răscumpărarea demnității și identității

Am citit povestea unui om de afaceri din New York, care, într-o dimineață de iarnă, se grăbea să se urce într-un metrou, în drum spre locul său de muncă. Cu colțul ochiului a văzut stând jos pe platformă un cerșetor, care avea o cană plină cu creioane în mâini. Fără să se gândească prea mult la aceasta, a luat repede niște bani din portofel și a aruncat bancnotele în farfuria cerșetorului, înainte de a intra în metrou.

Cei mai mulți dintre evanghelicii români spun și cred că mântuirea se poate pierde, dar este și o minoritate care crede că mântuirea nu se poate pierde. Posibil ca această gândire să vină din ortodoxie: mântuirea nu poți s-o ai decât la final, numai după ce ai trecut toate vămile, când Dumnezeu te pune la balanța și vede dacă ești vrednic sau nu de mântuire.
