I read parts of Mr. Bennett’s comments listed here the other day. Since everything that I have learned about Norway fits these statistics, I am reposting this because I think what is written here is, unfortunately, true. I appreciate Mr. Bennett’s work on behalf of all of those who are suffering in “the most livable country on earth.” As I have learned more about the Norwegian CPS, I have begun to think that social workers have a quota, kind of like a salesman would have in a high pressure sales job. There are too many cases in all shapes and sizes, belief in God or atheism, and selection of folks in the weakest positions to defend themselves that has helped me come to this conclusion. A “slip of the tongue” by a CPS worker also led me to think this. Right or wrong on this opinion, Norway’s CPS is broken and needs fixing. Thank you rodi for posting this important statement.
This is the list of global locations for the upcoming anti-Barnevernet protests. All I can say is WOW. Just wow. Many of these locations will have thousands of protesters. Delight in Truth is organizing the Los Angeles protest along with leaders from over 10 churches in the greater LA area. The world is uniting behind the Bodnariu family against the great injustice done to them by Barnevernet, AND behind the other families unfairly decimated by the Norwegian CPS. Europe, especially Eastern Europe has become allergic to the idea of Barnevernet-style child protection. This is for good reason given the recent abuses by the Norwegian CPS in cases like the Bodnariu, Nan and Avramescu families.
Romanian labor, family and social protection minister Claudia Ana Costea was asked if a brutal and aggressive CPS like Barnevernet is needed in Romania. Continue reading “Romanian Minister Costea Under Pressure to Resign After Barnevernet Comments”
Total surveillance of Norwegian homes to prevent crime?
March 11th 2016 brought the news that our government intends to increase secret surveillance in Norway. The Minister of Justice will have the police carry out new types of surveillance, without having to obtain a court order beforehand, including secret searches of homes, placing of secret microphones and cameras, hacking into private computers to obtain mail correspondence but also to monitor running activities such as drafts of mails which are never sent. (Links here, here and here). Continue reading “Prof. Marianne H. Skanland Warns About Extensive Government Surveillance in Norway”
Hello friends from Norway

I am dr. Chris Prunean from California, the blogger at delightintruth.com. As a father of 4 children and a physician, I would like to motivate you, the great people of Norway to no longer be silent about the human rights violations committed by the Child Protective Services in Norway. The Norwegian CPS (Barnevernet) is taking a beating like never before. There are more victims who now have the courage to come public with their stories. There are reports of directors resigning. There are horrifying reports that children are dying in the system. Some activists are saying that on average 2 children die per week while under CPS care. The intense international pressure has had a positive effect in The Norwegian CPS, as the parents have been allowed to see all children by now. Barnevernet has never experienced this kind of pressure before and are trying maneuvers to appease public opinion. They are scheduling town hall meetings with immigrant families to “help them understand” how the system works, and are doing a blitz campaign in the media accusing the international community of misunderstanding Barnevernet actions. There is a glimpse of good news today in the Bodnariu case. The parents communicated by phone with the older girls for the first time since the ordeal began nearly 2 months ago. The girls said they miss their family, and they miss their home.
Delight in Truth still does not understand the schizophrenic approach by Barnevernet in this case. Continue reading “International Pressure Against Barnevernet is Working”
