The intense international pressure has had a positive effect in The Norwegian CPS, as the parents have been allowed to see all children by now. Barnevernet has never experienced this kind of pressure before and are trying maneuvers to appease public opinion. They are scheduling town hall meetings with immigrant families to “help them understand” how the system works, and are doing a blitz campaign in the media accusing the international community of misunderstanding Barnevernet actions. Yesterday was a very important day for Marius and Ruth Bodnariu

After almost three months, for the first time, Marius was able to see the boys, Matei and Ioan. Until now, only Ruth had permission to see them once a week for two hours. It was emotional: two hours that Marius anticipated and waited for impatiently, considering that after promising that they will be able to see the boys last week, Barnevernet delayed the visit for one week on the excuse that they were not able to prepare all details for the reunion.

Ruth was filled with joy to see how happy the boys were to see Marius. Marius was happy to see the children’s joy, but also for Ruth who almost fell into depression last week when the visit was cancelled and delayed. Dragi prieteni,

După cum ştiţi în Decembrie am înregistrat o notă de protest la Ambasada Norvegiei din Bucureşti privind confiscarea copiilor familiei Bodnariu de către autorităţile norvegiene. De atunci au trecut două luni, timp în care mulţi m-aţi sunat ori scris întrebându-mă de situaţia curentă. În primul rând vă rog să continuaţi să vă rugaţi ca Dumnezeu să dea izbândă. Am convingerea că Dumnezeu a îngăduit această durere în familia Bodnariu ca în final lucrurile să se schimbe spre bine. Pentru mulţi. În al doilea rând, am scris un comentariu informativ privind abuzurile Norvegiei la adresa familiei Bodnariu şi a drepturilor parentale în general.
