Marchers hold rally in downtown Phoenix in support of Romanian family
PHOENIX (KPHO/KTVK) – Thousands marched outside the Arizona Superior Court building in central Phoenix on Saturday to protest the actions of Norwegian Child Protection Services, which forcibly removed five children from their parents last year in Norway.
The Bodnariu family is originally from Romania and they are evangelical Christians. Norway’s Child Protection Services, known as Barnevernet, removed the children from their home after determining that the parents were “indoctrinating” the children with allegedly radical beliefs. STOP BARNEVERNET! Episcopul Europei de Nord, Macarie DRĂGOI, la protestul pro Bodnariu de la Oslo!
“Iubirea familială nu poate fi niciodată înlocuită cu o încadrare instituțională” (Părinte Episcop Macarie Drăgoi al Europei de Nord)
Manifestații de solidaritate cu familia Bodnariu au avut loc sâmbătă nu doar în România, ci și în Norvegia și in alte țări europene. Printre cei prezenți la protestul organizat la Oslo s-a aflat și Preasfințitul Părinte Episcop Macarie Drăgoi al Europei de Nord, care consideră că iubirea familială nu poate fi niciodată înlocuită cu o încadrare instituțională.

I joined the stop barnevernet movement about a year ago when I was informed about the story of Eva Michalaková. In this case, her 2 children were taken by Barnevernet after false accusations and separated not only from their mother and father but also from all other relatives, their language, their culture and from each other.
